So Alison and I made a trip to Kerala, the place of my birth, in January. We enjoyed seeing lots of things, including a wild elephant! On our trip we stopped in at Rehoboth in Thrissur, which is the place my Grandparents worked for about 40 years. The picture of me is taken in front of the home they built.
Rehoboth started as a girls’ orphanage, and Phyllis Treasure is a New Zealand missionary who has been there since 1957. Alison is in the picture with her. Today there is a theological college and an English-based school also on the site.
We are hoping to go to Rehoboth to serve God in the near future. In our blog we will keep updates of how our journey of faith is going.
